Rates are for 1 or 2 people. There is an additional charge of $30 per night per additional adult person. (There is no additional charge for additional children.)

Summer Special: 10% off any midweek (Sun-Thurs) stay of 3 nights or more June 8 through August 31!

(Deposit amounts remain the same, the discount is applied (on the total) against the balance.)


Gift Certificates are available.

In general, we require a 2 night minimum stay, and a 3 night minimum on holiday weekends, and September 14- November 17. However, depending on the reservation schedule, minimums are sometimes waived. Other minimums may apply on non-weekend holidays such as Thanksgiving or Christmas. The Cabins normally sleep 2 people, but can accomodate a family of up to 4. There are state and county taxes totalling 10.75%.

Sorry but we cannot acccomodate pets. The cabins are non-smoking.

Making a Reservation:

Check Availability and Reserve Online. When making a reservation online your deposit payment information is entered on a secure website. Your reservation is confirmed once we process the deposit. Alternatively, you prefer you may fax us your reservation and credit card information (see below).

Fax us the reservation form including the rental deposit payment information. Your reservation is confirmed once we process payment of the rental deposit and e-mail you the receipt.

Paying the Cabin Rental Deposit

The cabin rental deposit is an advance payment of one night's rent or 1/3 of the total rental amount (if the reservation is more than 3 nights), with the balance due upon arrival.

Paying Deposit Online

Faxing us your deposit payment information

1) When you make a reservation online, your payment information is entered on a secure web-site. We then process the rental deposit payment, and e-mail you a receipt and maps to the property.

1) Print the Reservation Form

(The Vacation Rental Agreement will also print, as required by the State of North Carolina).

2) Fill it out - please be sure your e-mail address is printed clearly if we do not already have it!

3) Fax the form to the toll-free number on the form. You don't need to fax us the agreement. Normally the form is one page, on some printers it will be two. Our toll-free number accepts both fax and voice messages, so if you hear a message when faxing, just ignore it and start sending the fax.

Once we process your rental deposit payment we will e-mail you back a receipt/invoice, a map to the cabin location, and a map of the cabin property showing where each cabin is. Please use our maps to find the cabins, Internet map services frequently cannot find our country road and will direct you to the wrong location - or will send you over an unpaved cliff-side mountain road in bad weather! PLEASE NOTE: YOUR RESERVATION IS NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL YOU RECEIVE YOUR RECEIPT! If you do not receive it, please call. We will also try to call you if we, for example, expect a fax and do not receive it.

Arrival information: Your balance is paid upon arrival, by cash or by Mastercard or Visa card. If we need to make arrangements for late arrival (after 8PM), we do so when the receipt is e-mailed. We also e-mail you in the week before your arrival to confirm your arrival time, so that we know when to meet you at your cabin.

If you must cancel your reservation your deposit will be refunded (less a $35 processing fee) ONLY if you cancel 30 days in advance (60 days for stays of 7 nights or more), or if we are able to rent the cabin for the days you had reserved.

VISA and Mastercard Accepted - Except that we cannot accept Minnesota Credit Cards for the Deposit.*
* Please note that we cannot accept Mastercard or Visa for deposit payments from Minnesota residents. Deposit payments from Minnesota residents must be made through PayPal. Your card may be used to make a PayPal payment. Minnesota residents making a reservation will be sent a PayPal invoice.

Reservation forms and rental deposits may be mailed if they will reach us more than 60 days prior to the reservation dates. You must make a reservation by phone first. We expect to receive a mailed reservaton form within a week of the date you made the reservation. Please note that we have not found the mail to be completely reliable, so we prefer to receive the form by fax or for the reservation to be made online if at all possible. Unfortunately, non-receipt of a mailed form can put your reservation at risk of cancellation.

Reservation deposit checks must reach us within a week after the reservation is made. If the deposit will not reach us by mail prior to 60 days before the reservation dates, please fax us the reservation form instead. Reservation forms sent by fax should reach us at the latest by noon on the next business day after the reservation is made, unless we agree to a later time. A receipt/invoice and map will be e-mailed to you upon receipt of your deposit.
